Reset Your Life

Hello everyone! How are you doing? How is life treating you? I am doing so much better! To be honest, my health hasn’t been the best over the past 5 years. I’ve struggled with fibroid tumors, brain fog, hair loss, weight gain, and recently, high blood pressure and prediabetes. I have researched and tried so many diets and holistic remedies. I would experience a little relief, but nothing permanent. My breakthrough didn’t happen until a few months ago. As I was researching, I came across the term Adrenal Fatigue. ‘The term “adrenal fatigue” has been used to explain a group of symptoms that are said to occur in people who are under long-term mental, emotional, or physical stress.’  As I read about adrenal fatigue, there were so many symptoms that were familiar to what I was experiencing. It was like a lightbulb went off in my Spirit that said, ‘This is it! Dig deeper!’

Here are a few symptoms of Adrenal Fatigue:

Are you experiencing any of these issues? If so, let me encourage you! There is hope. You can feel better. You can RESET. YOUR. LIFE. Here’s how:

Even though I exercise regularly, my weight is still hanging on. I decided enough is enough! There is no way around it, I had to fully change my lifestyle. Taking supplements/vitamins, etc. is great, but you CANNOT out supplement a bad diet! I started a few months ago, gradually making changes to my diet and the world around me. I accomplished this by:

  • Eating whole foods.
    • A nutrient-dense, whole food diet is key to optimal health. It also helps to naturally balance your hormones.
  • Removing all the clutter around my house.
    • Clearing the clutter also helps to clear the clutter in your mind and mood.
  • Never entertaining anything OR anyone that is constantly negative.
    • Positive vibes only! Anything else is uncivilized!
  • Going to sleep at a decent hour.
    • This one is hard for me since my little one is a night owl. I try my best to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep nightly.

Making these small changes in my life has lowered my A1C to the normal range, cleared my brain fog, and given me so much energy! I am still on my journey, but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Starting on June 4th, I’m going to take it up a notch with the Destination WELLness Challenge.
